Project Overview
This boutique renovation of a Brooklyn brownstone was composed as a series of intimate rooms that lead to spaces of functionality and leisure. These areas transition seamlessly while introducing moments of visual interest through playful forms and unexpected sculptural elements in both the architecture and interior design, allowing the home to function as a cohesive yet refined family residence.
Approach
The project scope included the SD, DD, and CD phases. Following the primary and intermediary design stages, my role involved working closely with the on-site contractor to execute careful on-site modifications, resulting in a truly bespoke installation. The whimsical nature of the project encouraged creativity and moments of surprise, as requested by the client.
